Who wouldn’t want to feel happier and more relaxed? Unfortunately, people are often dragged down with stress, anxiety and overthinking. Is this your case? Let’s see what you can do about it.

One Native-American legend tells an interesting story. The old man said to his grandson: «In the heart of each person are two wolves. The first one is evil, full of jealousy, anxiety and sadness. Another wolf is good – he is happy, peaceful and grateful.
«And which one will win?» Asked the grandson.
The older man replied.
«The one you feed.»

It’s such a profound truth in this simple story. If you feed the positive thoughts, they will grow inside you and prevail over the bad ones. You can support them with these easy daily habits.

Doing nothing for a while

Each day is full of activities – work, commuting, meeting with friends, watching TV,…People are trying to fill every minute of their time with some action. But where is the time just for yourself?

Reserve at least fifteen minutes a day for doing nothing (literally – not even watching videos or listening to music). This time will help you to relax, calm down your emotions and be alone with your thoughts.
HSE Laboratory of Positive Psychology study showed that people who regularly spend a little time alone every day are more resistant to life’s challenges and changes. 

Our advice: try to connect with nature during your alone time. Spend that time in the garden, in the forest, or at least near your window, observing the sky, flying birds and the world around. When you finish your fifteen minutes of doing nothing, take a short video of the world around you. When you do it regularly, you will see how nature is changing during the year. You can create a stunning movie from all of these shorts videos.

Before-going to bed-routine

Do you know the secret, how to wake up in the morning in a positive mood? It’s simple – create a good mood before you fall asleep. The thoughts you have before falling asleep will influence your dreams during the night and impact your morning mood.

Our advice: before going to bed, listen to some relaxing music, read your favourite book, or take a short walk outside. This habit can also help you with insomnia. This is also a great time to make your Daylee clip for the day or compile a new Daylee movie and see how great your week was.

Fitness challenge

You can boost your feeling of happiness with chemical help – and we don’t mean pills! Did you know that hormone endorphin will make you feel happy and relaxed? 

Your body produces this hormone when you are doing some physical activity. So brace your lift weights, go running, or start to dance. You don’t even have to go to the gym – you can do healthy exercise even in your living room!
Regular exercise not only impacts your mood but will also prevent you from cardiovascular diseases. And of course, it will help you to loose weight and achieve an attractive appearance.

Our advice: document your progress! Make short videos of you exercising, or take a photo of you in front of the mirror every day. After some time, you will be surprised how your body changed. Escape to another world

Living your life can be sometimes exhausting. But you are not obligated to spend all your time just in one world. Reading books can be your escape from your daily life and the chance, how to relax.

The National Institute of Aging also suggests that regular reading can prevent age-related cognitive decline like Alzheimer’s.
