Doing nothing for a while
Each day is full of activities – work, commuting, meeting with friends, watching TV,…People are trying to fill every minute of their time with some action. But where is the time just for yourself?
Reserve at least fifteen minutes a day for doing nothing (literally – not even watching videos or listening to music). This time will help you to relax, calm down your emotions and be alone with your thoughts.
HSE Laboratory of Positive Psychology study showed that people who regularly spend a little time alone every day are more resistant to life’s challenges and changes.
Our advice: try to connect with nature during your alone time. Spend that time in the garden, in the forest, or at least near your window, observing the sky, flying birds and the world around. When you finish your fifteen minutes of doing nothing, take a short video of the world around you. When you do it regularly, you will see how nature is changing during the year. Before-going to bed-routine
Do you know the secret, how to wake up in the morning in a positive mood? It’s simple – create a good mood before you fall asleep. The thoughts you have before falling asleep will influence your dreams during the night and impact your morning mood.
